Adivalor : CHIMIREC and ADIVALOR have joined forces to promote sustainable and responsible farming

Since 2006, the CHIMIREC Group has developped a partnership with ADIVALOR for the collection of agricultural phytopharmaceutical products, otherwise known as PPNUs ‘Produits Phytosanitaires Non Utilisables' (Non usable phytopharmaceutical products) in France. These are chemical products that are designed to protect crops but which can no longer be used by the buyer (insecticides, fungicides, etc.). This means that we have had to be able to provide one-off services to empty and clean old storages.

In 2009, the two companies have moved forward in this partnership by introducing an original and flexible system of collection. As of now, agricultural distributors can organise and trigger off the collection of their stocks of non usable phytopharmaceutical products by grouping together a minimum of 500 kg (our only condition).

  • This is a significant boost for agricultural distributors in their management of phytopharmaceutical products.
  • A solid partnership exists between CHIMIREC and ADIVALOR for an enduring commitment to farming practices that respect the environment.

Note that

ADIVALOR began in 2001 as a voluntary move by economic actors from the farming world to create a French branch in the management of professional pharmaceutical waste.
