CHIMIREC Canada A synergy of growth for our three subsidiaries

In 2024, our Quebec subsidiaries posted very positive results, exceeding their targets. The year 2025 is set to continue this positive trend, which the CHIMIREC Group welcomes. Indeed, after a particularly successful winter season, the coming months look just as promising.

To date, the development of Solva-Rec Environnement, FEC Technologie and Recyclage Hydrocarb has placed CHIMIREC Canada at the forefront of the CHIMIREC Group's international subsidiaries.

The expertise of our teams

Customer trust and loyalty are earned above all by demonstrating professionalism, reliability and responsiveness. This observation, which applies to all sectors of activity, becomes a constant commitment when it comes to managing hazardous waste, the core business of the CHIMIREC Group's three Quebec subsidiaries.

In 2024, our Canadian teams, renowned for their expertise in this field, were called upon by some of their clients to handle exceptional transactions. And just recently, FEC Technologie took charge of managing over 1,000 m3 of hydrocarbon-contaminated water following an accidental spill.

Strategic investments

In 2023, already owner of Solva-Rec Environnement and FEC Technologie, the CHIMIREC Group decided to acquire 100% of the shares of Recyclage Hydrocarb, specialising in the collection and consolidation of black oils. This is an area in which the Group has extensive experience, having been active in France for over sixty years. This merger has enabled the two subsidiaries, Solva-Rec Environnement and Recyclage Hydrocarb, to optimise their overall operations, especially since they are located just one street apart.

Structurally, improvements and expansion of the sites have not only made it possible to cope with the increase in waste flows, but also significantly improved waste stock management performance. Further work will undoubtedly be undertaken to support the growth and diversification of CHIMIREC Canada's activities.

All these factors explain the strong growth of CHIMIREC Canada today, to which the commitment of local teams has contributed significantly. This is a commendable achievement, despite the turbulent political and economic climate with the United States.
