Diagnosis and selective sorting of waste: our technical assistance
Ahead of waste treatment, CHIMIREC has set up a service to advise and support its customers to optimize waste management. Our technical sales representatives travel on site to assess needs and recommend personalized services.
Waste identification, CHIMIREC expertise
Trained in the issues of our business, our technical sales representatives are also attentive to the requirements of our customers. Their on-site intervention allows a comprehensive and concrete analysis of the context to provide answers that consider the regulatory and logistical constraints as well as the environmental objectives of our customers.
Waste Diagnosis, a specialist's advisory report
It determines:
• The type of waste generated
• The volumes produced by waste type
• The available storage capacity and accessibility for collection
• The industrial constraints
• The possible areas for improvement.
It leads to specific recommendations in terms of:
• Setting up storage facilities with appropriate signage
• Securing the waste area by chemistry sorting
• Selection of treatment channels with a focus on recovery
• Educational support of your teams
• Optimising selective sorting at workstations.
Selective sorting: a container suitable for each waste
The implementation of selective sorting is a key step in waste management. Its performance depends on safety as well as waste recovery opportunities.
The security guarantee
The mixing of certain hazardous wastes can present major risks, which is why safety requires a very rigorous selective sorting that starts with our customers.
As a precursor to the selective collection of hazardous waste in France, CHIMIREC makes available hundreds of thousands of regulatory containers to its customers. Their quality and cleanliness are subject to constant control.
For each type of waste, CHIMIREC provides an appropriate container, cask, bin, or container, which also meets the technical and logistical constraints of each customer site. On each container, a label indicates the exact designation of the waste, its regulatory references, its classification, and its CAP number (Certificat d’Acceptation Préalable - Certificate of Prior Acceptance). This clear signage makes it easier to sort on-site and is a guarantee of safety.
Optimized recovery
In addition to the safety imperative, selective sorting is essential to a sustainable development approach aimed at recycling and recovering waste. Indeed, the better the sorting, the greater its potential for waste recovery.
