CHIMIREC International: increased focus on safety objectives
In its subsidiaries located in Poland, Canada, Morocco and Turkey, safety is a priority for the CHIMIREC Group, just as it is at its sites in France. Activities related to waste management, from collection to treatment, require constant and demanding security measures.
The safety of teams and facilities
Protecting people in the course of their work and preserving the environment from pollution risks have been the CHIMIREC Group's primary concerns since its creation. The triple Quality-Safety-Environment certification, obtained in 2012 by all its French subsidiaries, embodies the Group's unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety of its activities daily in the field. This commitment is rooted in strict compliance with current regulations and extends beyond these obligations, making safety an essential pillar of the CHIMIREC Group's corporate culture.
This is why, even though safety regulations vary from one country to another and local contexts are clearly different in Poland, Canada, Turkey and Morocco, the CHIMIREC Group is committed to applying the same standards in its international subsidiaries as those required in France.
Accident statistics under close scrutiny
The CHIMIREC Group would like to congratulate its international teams on the excellent accident prevention results achieved in 2025. These results are, moreover, an improvement on those for 2024.
Keen to implement a uniform safety policy across all its sites, the management of CHIMIREC International wanted to incorporate additional indicators, which will be introduced throughout 2026. Following the example of the safety reports produced by French subsidiaries, international sites will now be required to regularly and systematically monitor near misses and all incidents reported on their platforms.
Until now, only CHIMIREC Canada had taken this initiative, which will now be implemented at CHIMIREC Poland, CHIMIREC Morocco and CHIMIREC Turkey.
This decision is part of a strengthened approach to raising awareness of prevention and involving all teams in identifying even the smallest risk factors. Analysing each incident enables corrective measures to be taken to ensure optimum safety for people, facilities and the environment.
