Over the past decade, CHIMIREC International has experienced steady growth. The CHIMIREC Group has been operating in Poland since 2004, in Canada since 2009, in Turkey since 2007 and in Morocco since 2018, and is recognised in these host countries for its professional expertise, compliance with regulations and reliability.
Alongside its waste collection activities, which help prevent environmental pollution and health risks, our Group has established local waste recovery schemes for the waste it collects:
- Energy or material recovery from oil filters in Poland, Canada and Turkey.
- Energy and materials recovery from plastic packaging in Turkey.
- in Canada.
- Production of alternative energy fuel (AEF) in Turkey and Morocco, with projects under consideration in other countries.
Positive results and ambitious targets
Since 2023, CHIMIREC International has recorded particularly strong growth, thereby making a significant contribution to the CHIMIREC Group’s results.
This momentum is set to accelerate through:
- The construction of two new production sites in Turkey and Morocco.
- The expansion and refurbishment of two of our Canadian subsidiaries, which open prospects for a new phase of development.
- The implementation of a major project in Poland.
Currently collecting, processing and recycling over 100,000 tonnes of waste per year, CHIMIREC International has set itself the target of doubling this volume over the next three years.
A commercial strategy to be strengthened
Despite recent political and economic tensions, which unfortunately have a detrimental impact on the urgency of environmental issues, the CHIMIREC Group continues to champion the ecological transition.
Despite this climate of uncertainty, waste management regulations have been tightened in the countries where CHIMIREC operates, and the markets in this sector have become more structured. CHIMIREC International has observed these developments, particularly in Poland, Morocco and Turkey. The potential for growth and diversification in waste management activities therefore remains considerable.
Faced with these new challenges, CHIMIREC International is implementing a more analytical commercial strategy tailored to the markets it aims to enter and must rely on strengthened sales teams to achieve its objectives.
