New markets for CHIMIREC Poland

 New markets for CHIMIREC Poland

Established in Poland for over twenty years, the CHIMIREC Group has two sites located in Warsaw and Łódź. Specialising in waste management for all industrial sectors (automotive, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, construction, etc.), our subsidiary is recognised locally for its professional expertise and its compliance  with local safety and traceability regulations.

In its commitment to providing its customers with excellent services, CHIMIREC Poland successfully undertook a triple certification process in 2022 :

  • ISO 9001 for Quality,
  • ISO 45001 for Safety,
  • ISO 14001 for the environnement.

This certification is an additional asset in the eyes of the Polish authorities, who in recent years have been working to strengthen the regulations necessary for environmental protection. At the same time, the country is pursuing an energy transition policy, which is leading it to replace coal, currently Poland's primary energy source, with renewable energies. The production of RDF therefore has a rightful place alongside the current development of solar and wind energy.

CHIMIREC Poland's expertise deployed for :

The production of Refuse Derived Fuel

Made from hazardous waste, Refuse Derived Fuel, as its name suggests, can replace fossil fuels and thus contribute to Poland's energy transition. The CHIMIREC Group has complete mastery of the manufacturing processes, which have been implemented for many years in France, then in Turkey, and in Morocco.

Historically, CHIMIREC Poland already has a licence to manufacture RDF. The acquisition of a new crusher will increase production capacity to meet growing demand from local cement manufacturers, who highly value the quality of the RDF produced by CHIMIREC Poland. Depending on local demand, CHIMIREC Poland is fully prepared to meet local needs..

The management of ‘ecological bombs’ on Polish territory

They are called ‘ecological bombs’ for good reason: they are usually warehouses or sites where hazardous waste has been stored, posing a major risk of environmental pollution and danger to public health.

This abandoned waste requires expert management and skills acquired in the field, which the CHIMIREC Group has mastered perfectly. CHIMIREC Poland also offers its services for this type of work, within the framework of tenders managed by the Polish public authorities.

Reinforcement from the experience of CHIMIREC France

In pursuing these two avenues for developing its business, CHIMIREC Poland benefits from the added experience brought by Tony Laurent, Director of CHIMIREC Socodeli Beaucaire.
