CHIMIREC Canada : a winning team!
With the Football World Cup currently underway – some matches of which are being played in Canada – the CHIMIREC Group would like to take this opportunity to commend the excellent results achieved by CHIMIREC Canada, the star performer amongst its international subsidiaries.
In the field of waste management, within an economic environment where the rules of the game have changed significantly in recent times, CHIMIREC Canada has managed to score decisive points in favour of its development.
In many ways, the success of a business bears similarities to a run in the Football World Cup. Behind every victory lie years of preparation, a clear strategy, an analysis of one’s competitors or opponents, and a set of tactics to be implemented whilst never losing the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Success depends on strong leadership, complementary skills, the quality of the team, and a great deal of perseverance in scoring goals. Just like a football team, a successful business is often one that turns challenges into learning opportunities and pursues its goals with determination to reach the top of the podium.
CHIMIREC Canada: a winning trio
In 2023, the CHIMIREC Group, which already owned Solva-Rec Environnement and FEC Technologie, decided to acquire 100 per cent of the shares in Recyclage Hydrocarb.
This strategic investment has enabled the subsidiaries Solva-Rec Environnement and Recyclage Hydrocarb, both specialising in the collection of used oils, to optimise their overall operations.
At the helm of the three Canadian subsidiaries, a dynamic trio set to make their mark in the waste management sector:
- The coach, André Lachevrotière, Director of CHIMIREC Canada, who provides effective leadership and fosters trust, motivation and commitment in everyone.
- The striker, Jean-Charles Dumais, Director of Strategic Development, who sets out to win over clients and has a knack for identifying development opportunities to capitalise on and emerging markets.
- In midfield, Mike Gagnon, Operations Director, and Éric Benoit, Technical and Laboratory Director. Both play key roles within the company. Without their skills, the company would never be able to achieve its goals.
Alongside them are all the staff members – all of whom play a part in the matches to be played by CHIMIREC Canada. In particular, their professionalism and commitment have led to a marked improvement in waste stock management performance, whilst ensuring optimal safety standards.
Well done to our Canadian teams!
