CHIMIREC Group: Return to work highlights
With the publication of the 2023 Environmental Report, the inauguration of CHIMIREC Aulnay-sous-Bois, the Group's new head office and operating site, the CHIMIREC France and International Group managers' seminar, and participation in the Pollutec trade fair: the CHIMIREC Group has planned a very active autumn on all fronts of the environmental cause!
While this summer has seen record-breaking temperatures in most countries in the northern hemisphere, from southern Europe to Asia, the United States and Canada, the environmental cause has also, quite logically, been gaining momentum around the world.
While it is clear that in recent years environmental protection policies have been developed in a growing number of countries, and that regulations, particularly on waste management, are becoming increasingly stringent, the complexity of the issues and impacts is also growing.
Indeed, the transitional phase we are currently going through is bringing to the fore both the consequences and the limits of the actions taken and to be taken.
Combating global warming, reducing air pollution, implementing the energy transition, decarbonising industry, and so on. Research and innovation have a vital role to play in meeting these major challenges.
The CHIMIREC Group is committed to protecting the environment
The CHIMIREC Group has been part of this movement since it was founded in 1958, collecting hazardous waste and constantly optimising its treatment methods, designing material and energy recovery solutions, promoting recycling and reuse, and exporting its expertise internationally.
The 2023 edition of our Environment Report, which has just become available, takes stock of our activities and the measures we have taken to protect the environment.
In particular, it describes the new site in Aulnay-sous-Bois, just outside Paris, which houses the CHIMIREC Group's French and international headquarters and a waste management site. Built on the rehabilitated industrial wasteland of the former PSA car plant, the site covers six hectares and is equipped with the latest, most innovative technologies in terms of safety, work rationalisation, and environmental protection.
The official inauguration will take place on October 5th, attended by our teams, our customers, and our professional and institutional partners.
The day before, the Group's French and International directors will hold a seminar to review the company's activities, followed by a discussion of the Group's strategic development directions, informed by the sharing of experiences and opportunities reported by all CHIMIREC subsidiaries.
A few days later, from October 10th to 13th, 2023, at Lyon Eurexpo, the Pollutec trade fair, will provide the CHIMIREC Group, the world's leading specialist in environmental and energy solutions, with an opportunity to present its comprehensive and virtuous waste management services in France and abroad in Poland, Canada, Turkey and Morocco. This trade event will also be the ideal opportunity to promote the CHIMICAPT®BOX, a totally innovative treatment solution designed for industrial effluents.
